Onsite affordable housing to a major mixed use Central London development

Affordable housing pre-sold

As part of London & Regional's successful development of the former Marks & Spencer headquarters designed by Ken Shuttleworth's MAKE Architects, private and affordable housing was provided onsite fronting Rodmarton Street.

Shaw Corporation assisted London & Regional in the negotiation of the affordable housing aspects of the Section 106 Agreement, tendered the affordable housing to competing Housing Associations/RSLs. Shaw Corporation sold the onsite affordable housing to Community Housing Group (part of the One Housing Group).

The onsite affordable housing provides a mixture of 16 self-contained flats and houses as key worker/intermediate rent and social rent on a mid-term lease with funding introduced by the Housing Corporation.

The substantial development has been fully completed and occupied.
