The houses had previously operated as a poor quality hotel/hostel and had been vacant for many years. When complete the four houses will comprise 4 No. six storey (including basement and lower ground floor) semi-detached six bedroom family houses with integral car parking. Shaw Corporation assisted the property owners in the public consultation, co-ordinating information regarding the structural condition and nature of the collapsed buildings and co-ordinated the professional team to secure detailed Planning and Listed Building approvals including demolition of Listed Buildings within a Conservation Area and Conservation Area approvals. Shaw Corporation also negotiated the terms of the legal Section 106 Agreement.
