A development site of 0.22 Hectares (0.56 acres) with frontages to Lavington Street and Great Suffolk Street close to Southwark Street and the Tate Modern in London's Bankside

Shaw Corporation assisted developers Londonewcastle in the pre-application proposals and strategy for the development of this site as well as negotiations with Network Rail where their lands adjoin the site.

Londonewcastle sold the property to Unite who subsequently secured detailed Planning Consent for a new student housing scheme providing approximately 230 bed spaces together with 39,000 sq ft (3,623 sq m) of office development.  The scheme is currently in construction and due for completion in 2010.
