Shaw Corporation has worked closely with the property owner Camden Market Estate Holdings Limited over many years to assemble the site and achieve a series of Planning Approvals for this comprehensive scheme.

The Stables Market project comprises a series of phases including the refurbishment of Listed buildings and dynamic new buildings, whilst the world famous Stables Market has continued to trade and thrive as an international retail and leisure destination throughout.

Stables Market is the largest mixed use development in Camden Town and enhances the already phenomenal international success of the worldwide reputation of Camden Town as a unique market and tourist destination.  Camden Town is the third largest tourist destination in Central London.

Shaw Corporation assisted the owners in the site assembly; Planning strategy and Section 106 Agreements.

Over a period of years Shaw Corporation has also represented the owners in settling terms with Network Rail for widened tenure, renegotiating leases and with the purchase of freehold and long leasehold interests.

Shaw Corporation also assisted Stables Market in negotiations with adjoining landowners British Waterways, Camden Lock and Morrisons.

Shaw Corporation has been prominently involved in many of the recent developments and urban regeneration projects in Camden Town, for example Piers Gough's iconic Glass Building in Jamestown Road; Camden Plaza (where Parkway meets Camden High Street), the Open University headquarters in Hawley Crescent and the redevelopment of 64-70 Camden High Street and Kings Terrace to promote the regeneration of the southern end of Camden High Street.
